Bleeding Sunshine is an original and entertaining feature film in its production stage with a strong social commentary on the international epidemic of human trafficking, which plagues many African nations today. Ghana, where the film takes place, has been established over the past several years as a globally recognized emerging film market, with hundreds of films produced every year. The Ghanaian film industry has been affectionately named Ghallywood. Although there are many projects coming out of this market every year, the high demand for content has caused the quality of many of the films to suffer.
Local Brown Films and Flipside Entertainment have assembled a team of the best technicians and artists in Ghana and the US to produce a Hollywood-quality film that will help establish Ghallywood as a legitimate film production market, ushering a new era in Ghanaian cinema. The artistic mission of the project is to produce an original, visually arresting, and entertaining feature film.
Produced by Ronald Lang, Marc Pitre and Russell Simmons.

The Drunken Chemist (TDC) is a business run by two sisters who are scientists/chemists by trade. They make soap formulae with locally sourced, responsible ingredients which are environmentally sound, ethically tested (i.e. not on animals). They contacted PATHFINDER because aside from growing their business in the US, they want to expand TDC to India with the objective of creating social impact, specifically through the empowerment and creation of jobs for women.
They are currently working on a new formula that reduces the need for clean drinking water and lye which will provide the ideal conditions to work in India (where there is a lack of access to clean water).
World Pathfinder Children’s Fund Inc. is a Canadian corporation and the international support channel for their founding entity, Pathfinder Nepal. Both Pathfinder Nepal and the World Pathfinder Children’s Fund are not-for-profit organizations; Pathfinder Nepal assists children with educational subsidies in the Nepalese villages around the Pokhara valley.
At the operational level, the organization regularly visits the schoolmasters and reviews the recent list of impoverished children forced to drop out of school, they also visit affected children and their families. If a family wishes for a child to continue attending school, the organization provides the tuition and other support such as clothing, school supplies and proper nourishment. Once Pathfinder Nepal provides assistance to a child, they continue supporting the child until graduation or when the family no longer requires their assistance.
